Here, ladies, we are at the end of the first half of the year. 2020 has been such a big mess. We lost almost 4 months of the year in a pandemic. Hopefully, the second half will be better than this. Marking the end with my favourite colour – Red. The Look of the day has:
The splash of florals on the fabric has such a charming touch on the $370 Misa Los Angeles Pamelina Dress. Deeply inspired by her travels and love for global style, MISA is for the modern-day bohemian who spends her life travelling the world, leaping from one exotic location to another. The Look of the day:
Black never goes out of trend. And we are bringing black today.
Inspired by feminine designs and bold prints this Johanna Ortiz Splashing Flowers Printed Dress has gorgeous ‘Splashing Flowers’ in two tones. The two shades of the prints give us a choice to pair the outfit with two different shades of accessories. I chose a cactus green tone and croc brown shade. Green gives it simple and regal vibes while croc brown can take this dress from simple to edgy. Which one do you like?
The blue dress feels so lightweight and comfortable. I will pick it any day to work from home. The dress is paired with matching yet contrasting accessories to give it a classic touch. The Look of the day has:
Red and Floral the combination is my weak point. This muslin dress is so colourful and vibrant that it has the power to brighten your day. The look of the day has:
On Friday, Queen Letizia of Spain stepped out in a beautiful outfit. A long golden skirt with a sleeveless top. The outfit was chic, stunning, elegant and worthy of a Royal. My today’s outfit idea is a bit budget-friendly version of the look. The Look of the Day has:
I have an eye on this LK Bennett Gish Peony Print tie neck dress for a long time. Finally, it’s here part of Lookbook. The vintage print of the dress features painted peonies in a colourful clash of teal, yellow, red and green. Crafted from beautiful silk chiffon with a slip layer, it has a round neck with tie detail, long sleeves, a gathered waist and a floaty midi skirt. The look of the day has:
Temperature is rising up and up day by day. Lightweight, flowy and comfortable dresses are going to be out a priority in the coming days. Today I am adding one of the comfiest and budget-friendly €15 dress to our June lookbook. The look of the day has:
Another British style is full of elegance and royal vibes. The green dress is from Fold London. The crepe dress is a gorgeous piece perfect for the social event in Britain. The look of the day has:
It’s been a long time since we had a party look here on Elbe Couture House. Due to COVID19, there were no celebrations around the globe. But we can have a style ready for the near future when we might be coming back to the pre-COVID19 normals. Our today’s look features a stunning blue gown from an absolutely gorgeous and elegant Spanish label. The Look of the day has:
It was supposed to be Trooping the Colour Parade this Saturday. Royal Ascot is another British Social Calender’s highlight and of course, we cannot forget the Order of Garter Service. All the events call for beautiful dresses topped with gorgeous headpieces. I will be bringing one or two more British Regal styles in the next week. The look of the day has:
It’s time to have an Amazon Shopping Fest. Our Summer wardrobe is not complete if we do not have a summer dress from Amazon. This Georgette Ruffle-Sleeve Maxi Dress is available for $43 in 6 prints and shades. Find the whole look here on my Amazon page.

The biggest advantage of being a blogger is that you find new stuff every day. Since I started this blog I have come to know many brands and labels that I never heard. Our today’s look is featuring a new to me brand Valle & Vik. A London based luxury womenswear brand, Valle & Vik was established in 2017 by a Norwegian designer Silje Vallevik. In a race against fast fashion, the British label offers some really classic timeless pieces that will last in our wardrobe for decades. The look of the day has:
And it’s time to have a look from our budget-friendly label H&M. The Swedish label has been fulfilling the demands of comfort for many decades. Our today’s look features H&M Pleated Chiffon Dress that is currently retailing for $49.99. I paired the outfit with pink and coral hue giving summer vibes. The whole outfit is quite a catch and comes with in our gentle budget-friendly range. The #ootd has:
Happy Sunday! We did not have a simple pink outfit. After lots of print and floral, it’s time for a plain dress. Our today’s look has Sandro Short Sleeves Textured Knit Dress. The $370.00 knit dress features crossover V-neck, an inlaid waistband with scalloped edges and flared skirt with textured jacquard motifs. I imagined the dress with contrasting tan accessories. The look of the day has:
The Purple is not a very summer shade, but I love its vibrancy. So our today’s style inspiration has lots of purple in it. The silk crepe de chine dress has a bright floral anemone-print dress with crossover neckline. The look of the day has:
Our today’s look features a $98 Boden Esmeralda Jersey Dress. Pleasingly drapey, this just-below-the-knee dress has a touch of stretch for all-day comfort. It has neatly capped sleeves and a boat neck that dips to an elegant V at the back. Paired with contrasting accessories the outfit is perfect for the summer sunny day. The outfit of the day has:
Yellow, the colour of sunshine, energy and happiness. A perfect choice for a sunny summer day. As we are stepping out of lockdown slowly we will be able to enjoy the sunny summer more, so we need a budget-friendly outfit in the shades of the sun. And here we have that outfit idea. The look of the day has:
June and July used to be Polo or Horse Trial days in the UK in the Pre-COVID19 era. This year we won’t be having any polo match or Horse trials, so no casual family day look from the Duchess of Cambridge. So I am dedicating this look that is perfect for a family fun day out in the sun to those sunny days. The look of the day has:
Welcome to the month of June. Wow! we have entered into the end of the first half of the year. Well, June means summer, summer means beautiful dresses. I am beginning this month on a Royal note. This month was supposed to be the month of Royal Ascot, Trooping the Colour, Order of Garter Service and Garden Party. But thanks to COVID19, we are not getting any Royal style inspiration at all. In this month’s lookbook, you might get too many mentions of Royals. So please bear with me. Dedicating this look to the Royal Ascot.
